Beyond Capital held a training session for Luminus ShamalStart startups on the Investor Readiness Program. Designed to support entrepreneurs to make better decisions when raising external equity finance, the program also helps them understand key topics and make the needed preparations to attract the right investors.

An informative session by Fab Academy was held yesterday, during which attendees were introduced to the training plan and were accompanied on a tour of FabLab Irbid’s various facilities.
Last Saturday was the last part of 'Professional Drone Builder' Workshop held by Sager.
Which gave the opportunity for the attendees to apply the last touches on what was left from the manufacturing procedure of the designs, the attendees also gained awareness about the principles and practical steps in the procedure of the aggregation of a drone as well as the welding process, and was concluded with a feedback of what was learnt in the workshop.

Headed by Prof. Manar Fayad, President of the German Jordanian University (GJU) - the delegation comprised the Dean of Luminus Technical University College (LTUC), Dr. Ayman Maqableh; EDU-Syria Project Manager, Dr. Dhiah Abou-Tair; as well as academic representatives from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, GJU, Zarqa University and LTUC.
During the Kahrabji Nabd event, which aims to showcase student projects, we presented the kinetic wave sculpture; an invention by FabLab Irbid’s computer numerical control expert, Moath Momani. Services provided by Luminus ShamalStart and FabLab Irbid were also highlighted to students, demonstrating their various benefits.

Our very own incubated startup - 3DU - took part in one of Europe’s largest educational and vocational training fairs; Fiera Didacta Italy. Represented by its Founder, Ali Makahleh showcased the company’s educational programs, customized services and upcoming products.
3Du was the only startup from outside the European Union, joining participating educational industry giants such as Microsoft, Lenovo, Texas Instruments and LEGO.
