DPG project Closing Ceremony

With presence of its partners, Jordan Start celebrated the closing of the Digital Public Goods program, which was launched in August 2022.
The event was held at Jordan Start premises/Irbid, where Jordan Start presented the achievements and success stories of the project. The guests also toured Jordan Start’s facilities, and at the end, Jordan Start honored its partners and incubated startups for their collaboration to lead this project to the success.
During the event, Mr. Ibrahim Faza/Jordan Start Manager, expressed his pleasure of their partnership with UNICEF in this program, as it was the first of its kind in Jordan.
From his part, Mr. Abdulrahman AlBaroudi/ Youth & Adolescent Development Specialist thanked Jordan Start team for their efforts and expressed his proud of the succeeded companies.
The DPG program is part of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program that is currently running by Jordan Start in partnership with UNICEF, and it aims to raise awareness in the field of Digital Public Goods. The main objective of the acceleration phase is to provide open source projects with the tools and support needed to transform their business ideas into successful startups and to implement their scalable business models based on DPG.
