Five Startups Headed For Incubation

In the final wave of 2020, we accepted five out of nine teams into the incubator. The teams attended the business boot camp and pitched their ideas to the jury, who picked five start-ups that meet Luminus ShamalStart’s eligibility criteria; an idea in the manufacturing field that would benefit the community. Because of the COVID-19 regulations, the pitching was held remotely.

The teams were among tens of applicants that applied to Luminus ShamalStart for the business acceleration program. The application for the acceleration program begins with an idea. Afterwards, the applications for eligible ideas are invited to attend the business acceleration boot camp where applicants receive the necessary training to professionally identify their business and prepare for a six month incubation period.

Luminus ShamalStart established the Business Accelerator at its headquarters. At the incubator, we guide passionate individuals with promising ideas in the fields of manufacturing and related services to transform their prototypes into successful businesses.

Investing in these entrepreneurs and equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, resources, training, funding and connections, empowers them to devise grassroots solutions and establish successful businesses that effectively propel them and their respective communities forward.
