EDU-Syria Visits ShamalStart

The German Jordanian University visited Luminus ShamalStart campus in Irbid on Wednesday. During the meeting, both parties discuss moving forward with EDU-Syria III; a European Union funded project that aims to educate and empower. Luminus ShamalStart will help train and incubate tens of startups through its acceleration program for the next three years.

EDU-SYRIA is a framework to help Syrian refugees in Jordan and vulnerable Jordanians from the refugees host communities to get access to higher education through a set of scholarship programs. The program supports the “No Lost Generation” strategy, which aims to provide those affected by the conflict with the chance to shape a more stable and secure future.

EDU-SYRIA is implemented by the German Jordanian University (GJU), in partnership with Luminus Technical University College (LTUC), as well as other educational partners.
