Information Sessions for EDU-SYRIA Project

In conjunction with the announcement of the Call for Applications for its Entrepreneurship Training Scholarship Program (ETSP) projects, Jordan Start has launched an extensive series of informational sessions nationwide. These sessions aim to engage entrepreneurs and acquaint them with the program offered by Jordan Start, facilitating the transformation of their ideas into tangible projects that align with their aspirations while bolstering the local economy.

The Entrepreneurship Training Scholarship Program (ETSP) is a collaborative initiative between EDU-SYRIA and Jordan Start. This program specifically targets Syrian refugees and underprivileged Jordanians who harbor ambitions to establish their own businesses.

The sessions have kicked off with a diverse range of offline and online events, including those conducted at Zarqa University, JOHUD, Jerash Association, and Tahfeez Association, among others. Encouragingly, attendance figures have been promising, with a cumulative total of 242 individuals actively participating across these varied sessions. These sessions are set to continue until the conclusion of the open call for applications, ensuring ample opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs to delve into and engage with Jordan Start’s initiatives. Whether conducted offline or online via the Zoom application, the primary objective of these sessions remains to empower individuals to realize their entrepreneurial aspirations, thereby contributing positively to the growth of the local economy.
