Initial Interviews

Accepted applicants will be invited for an initial interview.

Business Boot Camp

Shortlisted applicants will undergo a ten day boot camp on how to establish a startup and develop a business model.

Pitching

Applicants will present their ideas to an external jury panel, which scores and selects the top candidates.

ELIGIBILITY

In order for your application to be accepted at ShamalStart the business incubator and accelerator, the founding team must consist of at least two co-founders

FOUNDING TEAM

The startup team must consist of at least two co-founders. Single-founder startups may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

At ShamalStart a Business incubator and accelerator the applicants must be at least 18 years old

AGE

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

The sectors that are accepted into the ShamalStart business accelerator and incubator are those related to industry and manufacturing

In order for your application to be accepted at the ShamalStart business accelerator incubator, the applicant must be residing in Jordan, especially in the northern regions of Jordan

ELIGIBLE LOCATIONS

Jordan, with focus on the northern regions

To be accepted into the ShamalStart Business Accelerator and incubator, the founders and employees must make up at least 50% of the existing project.

COMPANY STATUS

The applicant must not have a registered company, or have the company registered less than a year prior to incubation.

To be accepted into the ShamalStart Business Accelerator and incubator, the legal applicant's status must be valid by all civil and financial authorities

LEGAL STANDING

All applicants must submit a valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record.
